Heroes on the Water

Our United States military veterans and personnel make the ultimate sacrifice for us daily. Heroes on the Water understands that this role can come with stress and trauma and we are dedicated to supporting the overall physical and mental healing process. Our goal is to build a community where our veterans and active-duty participants feel comfortable and valued.

Our chapter events are designed to create a welcoming and pressure-free environment and are proven to help reduce symptoms of post-traumatic stress and traumatic brain injury. They provide a chance for participants to reconnect with themselves and others.

Events are open to family members of veterans and first responders at no cost because we believe that the focus should be on the whole person, which includes family as well.

Heroes New Hope Foundation

Heroes New Hope Foundation, Inc. is a 501©(3) organization formed in May of 2016 by Scott Goodman after a successful joint venture with Blind Endeavors – another 501©(3) that serves combat-wounded veterans – that came in the form of a turkey hunt for blinded veterans from across the United States.

After seeing firsthand, the needs of our veterans and their families who have sacrificed so much of themselves for our freedom, it is now time for us to give back to them.

Heroes New Hope Foundation provides all-inclusive ecotherapy opportunities included but not limited to an annual spring turkey hunt, summer fishing trip, fall deer hunt and other outdoor activities.

Heroes Hunt for Veterans

Heroes’ Hunt for Veterans would like to thank all of our wonderful Veterans who put their life on the line to protect our freedom! We love you and can never say THANK YOU enough!

Each Saturday we’ll meet our hunters at the AmericInn Hotel & Suites in Waupun, get settled in, then its off to the shooting range for some target practice and getting to know each other. When the time is right we will head out to one of our many blinds to include three Redneck blinds, two constructed 8×8 blinds, six pop up blinds, or one of 35 ladder stands. Each hunter will be accompanied by a guide whose job it is to make this about the hunter and his/her experience. Guides will be filming the hunt so the memory can be shared with others.

Hero Hunts

Hero Hunts is dedicated to placing servicemen/women in the great outdoors. We strive to reconnect veterans with the outdoors through hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities. We are about teaching proper ethics and following state guidelines, rules, and regulations in the outdoors. Hero Hunts helps to show veterans the wealth of resources that the outdoors has to offer.

Hero Hunt Inc

The mission of Hero Hunt, Inc., is to bring our line of duty injured heroes, military, police, firefighters and other first responders back into the fold of camaraderie they left when leaving the service to our nation due to those injuries.

Hero Hunt, Inc. organizes exciting and therapeutic game hunts for disabled veterans and first responders from across the country throughout the year. Based outside of Nashville, Tennessee, we are centrally located to some of the best hunting grounds in the Southeast.

But more than the hunt, we offer healing, understanding, and camaraderie to those who have served our country and our citizenry so valiantly. Our leadership team works with generous land owners who provide our locations. We also work with our service members to provide additional support throughout the year.

Hero Expeditions

At Hero Expeditions we organize outdoor adventures for military service members, veterans and first responders. HEX was founded on the belief that giving back to those that have selflessly sacrificed for all of us is simply the right thing to do.

Our Goal

Organize events that provide an atmosphere of camaraderie and fellowship among our participants.

Our Mission

Help create meaningful relationships that improve morale and promote healing

HOTF allows for continuous support for the healing process. This is not a one time occurrence but designed to provide continual support. This network will coordinate, fund and manage veterans support throughout the Greater Quad Cities Area.

Have Alaska

HAVE-Alaska is an Alaska-based organization dedicated to promoting the physical and psychological rehabilitation of American Veterans injured in service to our country through outdoor activities and travel. Our mission is to fund and facilitate activities in Alaska for injured American Veterans, their spouses, and dependents. We provide activities such as fishing, boating, whitewater rafting, hunting, kayaking, flight seeing, snowmobile tours, gold panning, bicycling, cruise vacations, cultural tours, wildlife viewing, National Park tours, dog mushing, skiing, etc.

We strive to raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members and their families. We hope to educate people concerning their role in the rehabilitation and societal acceptance of disabled service members.

We provide other organizations logistical assistance and programs to provide these once-in-a-lifetime experiences. We support all fellow veterans organizations that will directly and/or indirectly benefit American service members, and their families. Our members have worked extensively with the Wounded Warrior Project, Wounded Warrior Wives, Am-Vets, Project Healing Waters, Paralyzed Veterans of America, The Armed Services YMCA, and others to provide World-class experiences for our most deserving citizens.

Please help us give back to those willing to give all for your freedom!
