MEET ME @
THE LINK-UP

The Link-Up is where veterans go to make new connections and life-long friends through our network of outdoor, recreational, and healing organizations.

Mission

Connecting veterans with like-minded people to form long-lasting relationships through hunting, fishing, and recreational opportunities.

Vision

To help veterans become more self-reliant, resilient, and active in their community.

How to Use The Link-Up: Your 3-Step Guide to the Outdoors

1

Conduct Your Recon (Search & Filter)

Don’t get overwhelmed by the options—use our tools to narrow your search.

  • Use the Map: Head to our [Find a Link-Up] section. The interactive map is the fastest way to find organizations in your home state or a specific region where you want to travel.

  • Filter by Activity: Use the search filters to select your specific interest—whether it’s big game hunting, fly fishing, kayaking, or adaptive shooting sports.

2

Review & Follow the Link

Make sure the organization offers exactly what you’re looking for

Once you find an organization that fits your mission, click through to their dedicated profile.

  • Read the Intel: Check the organization’s description to ensure their mission aligns with your needs (e.g., combat-wounded specific, family-inclusive, or gear-provided).

  • Follow the Link: Click the direct link to the organization’s official website. Note: The Link-Up is your gateway; the actual application and scheduling happen directly with the partner organization.

3

Apply & Engage

Every organization has its own “Standard Operating Procedure” (SOP) for veteran intake.

  • Complete the Application: Follow the partner’s specific application process. This may require proof of service (like a DD-214) or specific health waivers for adaptive sports.

  • Start the Discussion: Don’t be afraid to reach out to their contact person. Ask about gear requirements, lodging details, and what to expect. Veteran-to-veteran communication is the best way to ensure a successful trip.
