At Lone Star Heroes Outdoors, our mission is to serve our nations heroes. We are registered 501c3 organization that serves our Nations Hero’s by taking them on free or low-cost Fishing, Hunting, and Outdoor Trips.

Our desire is to serve the Veteran community. We are made of veterans, for veterans. Our goal is provide veterans with an opportunity to do something they might not normally be able to do. Our desire is to provide a safe, respectful group with the common goal of paying it forward. We love God because he first loved us; we do these things because no greater love has any man than to lay down his life for a brother.
Hooks for Heroes Canada
We are a group for anglers that are willing to take servicemen and women such as Military, Police, Paramedics, EMT, Fire, Rescue, etc. out for a day of fishing. We spread the word of our appreciation for what these men and women do for our communities and our country. We raise awareness for the struggles some of these people face on a daily basis and the positive effects that a day of fishing can have. If you are heading out fishing, and have an extra spot and rod for one of our heroes, post here and invite them. If you are one of our heroes, post here and ask to be taken out fishing! This is a thank you for all you have done for us!
Heroes Healing Heroes – Outdoors FB only
We start where medicine ends!!! Our mission is to provide disabled Veterans and First Responders healing through camraderie and outdoor activities.
From Wars to the Woods (FB group only)
Many of you have done some time overseas and it may have been rough. The name signifies us all finding our peace out in the woods whether it be hunting, fishing or something else. This group is to get all of us Vets/Active Duty members connected with a like interest. The goal is to create a network of service members who love the outdoors and want to share their experiences with each other. If someone is looking to go hunt a certain species in a certain state, but doesn’t know where to begin….this is where they come! I want us to be able to reach out and get help or make some hunting buddies through this group. If you are willing to partner up with someone you never met let it be known. If you know the state or species someone is asking about and willing to let them tag along with you than please reach out to them. This is designed to be free and just create a network for people to make some friends and venture out and hunt areas or species they may never have before.
Bended Knee Outdoors
Bended Knee Outdoors is a faith based 501c(3) organization that is committed to helping veterans, families and disabled children and adults in the healing process by bringing them to the outdoors.
AVetHunt
We are getting veterans back into the woods by starting a non-profit organization called AVetHunt.
At Ease Campground
Waterfront Campground, Cabins, Marina, Restaurant and Store located on beautiful Lake Seminole in Recovery, GA. Picturesque park like setting, some of the best Bass fishing in the South East, plus kayaks, canoes and paddle boats.
