Troop Appreciation Foundation

Our fishing events take place on beautiful Lake Murray in South Carolina. We rely on our sponsors to help make these events possible, and of course, on our local fisherman that volunteer to captain their own boats filled with our wounded warriors

Trinity Oaks Foundation

Trinity Oaks is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded on the premise that active participation in the outdoors is a powerful, healing, and fundamentally life-changing experience. Trinity Oaks’ mission is to use hunting, fishing and outdoor activities to give back and make a meaningful difference on the lives of others. For decades, we have known of the philosophical shift that outdoor activities cause within those who participate in them and how that profoundly impacts the wellness of our society. Since 2007, we have impacted tens of thousands of people who otherwise would not be able to afford the experience of the outdoors.

Tight Lines for Troops

Our mission is to unite organizations, businesses, sponsors and communities to help provide a free fishing tournament open to all Michigan Veterans from all eras, wartime and peacetime. By bringing our Heroes together, we endeavor to build and foster new relationships, share their experiences and enjoy fishing in the great outdoors of Michigan.

Our all-volunteer, not-for-profit efforts will improve the quality of life for many Veterans, reinforce patriotism, educate and bring awareness that we must continue to support and honor those who have defended our country and our freedoms.

The Titan Project

Reeling in Vets is “teaching a man or woman to fish” in terms of spending time with other veterans and sharing stories, ideas and creating a support network. All while building a custom fishing pole. The take-away is not only a fishing pole. It is a one of a kind piece made by the veteran. A symbol of accomplishment, bonding and creativity. It will allow our comrades in arms to step into the outdoors or to be given as a gift to a friend or family member. Check our events page to see upcoming dates.

The Sportsmen’s Foundation for Military Families

Our U.S. Armed Forces veterans and their families have sacrificed much for our freedom and our way of life. The Sportsmen’s Foundation for Military Families (SFMF) was established to honor that sacrifice. Eligible military veteran families are given the opportunity to participate in a professionally guided outdoor adventure. For the veteran family, an SFMF experience is often the trip of a lifetime and is extremely therapeutic for those who could use a helping hand in recovery. It is our humble way of saying “thank you” for your service. We invite you to learn more about The Sportsmen’s Foundation for Military Families. “The number one best coping skill is the ability to maintain and put forth a positive attitude, especially in the face of adversity. SFMF hunts nurture that attitude and subsequently help combat veteran-hunters cope during the ups and downs of life.”
