Disabled Veterans Outdoors (DVO) provides free outdoor recreational programs for any veteran who is now disabled for any reason.
Dare to Dream Ranch
Our mission is to provide alternative therapy programs for U.S. Military veterans and their families struggling with emotional challenges such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Anxiety, Depression, Military Sexual Trauma (MST) and Mild Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
Our services, include, but are not limited to, utilizing equine therapy, horticulture therapy, woodworking, fly tying & fishing, beekeeping, recreational exercise, agri-therapy and career coaching. Our ultimate goal is to help our veterans become successful civilians who feel they serve a purpose after returning from their time spent on the battlefield.

AHERO connects Veterans through outdoor activities as a means to recover from their physical wounds and psychological trauma to reintegrate with American life.
AHERO (America’s Heroes Enjoying Recreation Outdoors) connects Veterans with patriotic members of local communities by organizing outdoor events and social activities. Our goal is to heal the physical and psychological wounds of war and military service by:
- Introducing Veterans to resources and programs available to them to increase their overall quality of life
- Developing an informal support network of Veterans across the country
- Encouraging constructive communication and engagement
- Boosting morale

We here at Changed by Nature Outdoors take pride in providing present and past military, first responders, youth, and people with serious permanent disabilities an opportunity to experience Mother Nature and the Great Outdoors. We are dedicated to providing a fun and unforgettable outdoor experience to everyone we can. Casting Freedom
The program aims to send combat wounded veterans, veterans, and Gold Star Family members enough fishing equipment to get out on the water. We help by providing the therapeutic benefits of the outdoors.
Once a month a combat wounded veteran or Gold Star family member will receive a generous gift allowing them to experience the outdoors.
Our goal is to provide this gift once a month to those who apply for the program. We also plan to send them on fishing trips with our team members and pro anglers.

Camp Hero Kentucky
Camp Hero provides 3-4 day getaways for wounded veterans and first responders, to allow them to be able to enjoy the tranquility of the Appalachian Mountain outdoors, while being able to talk and fellowship with other wounded heroes.
Veterans Outdoors Foundation
Our main goal is to get our Veterans and Active Duty Military involved in outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, hiking, water sports, etc.
Cast and Hook Fishing
The goal of Cast & Hook Fishing is to provide a better quality of life for 1st Responders and Veterans that are struggling with PTSD. We do so by providing them with healthy options to cope with mental health and job-related stressors. The objective of this project is to decrease the negative effects of PTSD within our participants by providing them with healthy options to decompress and manage stress rather than turning to unhealthy strategies and addictive substances which are detrimental to their health and wellness. We will accomplish this by providing our participants with free beach, wilderness, adventure and recreational therapy.
