Wounded Warrior Fishing
Short Description
Your inshore guide from Panama City Beach to Destin, FL.
Wounded War Heroes’ (WWH) pledges that these gallant men and women who have sacrificed so much for our country and sustained life-altering wounds or injuries as a result of serving our country in the fight for freedom are distinguished for their courageous service and sacrifice. Our passion for the outdoors and desire to give generously by demonstrating everyone’s appreciation supporting the Wounded Ware Heroes’ Vision, to enrich a person’s beneficial outreach to support and fund therapeutic outdoor experiences for these warriors.
The Wounded Veteran’s Waterfowl Club (WVWC) is a Not-for-profit organization providing FREE waterfowl hunts to all Active Duty, Retired, Medically Retired, Medically Separated, US Veterans and Purple Heart Recipients. Wounded Veteran’s Waterfowl Club hunts are open to all branches of the military.
Offering our wounded veterans the opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy a hunting or fishing trip with all expenses paid, our group focuses on uniting fellow Wounded Heroes on our outdoor adventures. On our trips, our Heroes create memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. Wounded Heroes Hunting Camp is here for our Heroes, and we hope that you will share in our passion and commitment to do what we can for the brave men and women who have sacrificed to protect our freedoms. We believe that healing begins on the hunt!
Wishes For Warriors is a veteran run, volunteer operated non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to returning hope and passion back into the lives of our combat wounded heroes, through therapeutic outdoor adventures, awareness, education and passion, after experiencing a life altering injury.
It is our mission to show these heroes that whether wounded of body and mind, they are still able to live out their passions, hope for the future and improved quality of life.
The “Wisconsin Veterans Fishing Camp” was established to give the opportunity to Veterans from around the state of Wisconsin to attend a fishing camp dedicated to them. This is our way of showing our HEROES how THANKFUL we are for their service to our country, as well as for our FREEDOM.
My goal is to get able bodied veterans and their families outdoors and active through a range of activities such as fishing, hiking, canoeing, and much more at no cost to them. (permitted there is no permits needed.)
Here at, Wisconsin Hero Outdoors, we serve our Veteran and First Responder community in 3 primary ways:
We work hand in hand with the Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical System, including the In-Patient Residential Mental Health Program, Housing and Urban Development-Veterans Administration Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) Departments, and Recreational Therapy Departments to provide outdoor excursions for our Veterans under the care of the VA. Currently, we work with the Milwaukee, Madison, Tomah, and North Chicago VA.
Coordination with Veteran Service Organizations and Non-Government Organizations to provide an outdoor activity element to their organizations. Examples include our collaboration with Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin, AMVETS, American Legion, United Special Sportsman’s Alliance, Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, Vets on the Fly, and a variety of local police and fire departments.
Lastly and possibly most important, we conduct group outings with individual and small groups of Veterans and/or First Responders from hunting and fishing excursions to golf, SCUBA diving, and equestrian programs.
