Band of Brothers Outdoors

Band of Brothers Outdoors is a 501(c)(3) charitable non profit that was started and founded by three Military Veterans with one mission in mind… “To get our Veterans and Active duty members outdoors to experience the benefits of Recreational Therapy!”. Whether it be Kayaking, Mushrooming, Hiking, Snow Shoeing, Hunting or Fishing, Band of Brothers Outdoors is committed to helping our veterans and active duty service members get back outdoors

California Waterfowl Association Veteran Hunt Program

The program promotes wellness through outdoor healing and the camaraderie of fellow veterans. Participants have enjoyed hunter education courses, fun shoots, fishing trips and hunts for waterfowl, dove and turkey from the Klamath Basin to the southern San Joaquin Valley. CWA coordinates all hunt details and supplies food and lodging, shotgun shells, guns, jackets, gear bags, duck calls, shirts, hats and more to all participants. Camp Hope

Allow wounded warriors the opportunity to participate in outdoor activities with dignity - to not think about what they “can’t” do, only to think what they want to do. Soldiers can shoot skeet, hunt turkey and deer, fish, hike, explore the country, or relax around the ever-burning firepit. More than 42,000 Soldiers have been wounded in the War on Terror. Camp Hope is committed to letting them heal through nature. Camp Patriot’s mission: CHALLENGE - CHANGE & LEAD Life Changing Adventures, Mentoring, Veteran Leadership Program Camp Patriot exists to take combat wounded & disabled U.S. Veterans on outdoor adventures. The task is monumental. Today, there are over 2.3 million wounded & disabled veterans in the U.S. The number of disabled men and women veterans is growing with each day, as the “war on terror” continues. Chairbound Hunters of Wyoming

Chairbound Hunters is a small group of people committed to help give the chair bound hunter the opportunity to experience quality hunting in beautiful southeast Wyoming Our reward is seeing the enjoyment our clients receive Chairbound Hunters is a non-profit organization designed exclusively for persons who are wheelchair-bound, blind or terminally ill These persons are taken out to hunt antelope, deer, elk and/or turkey by one of our board members or a qualified helper We have hunters come from all over the United States For now, our hunters have to buy their own hunting licenses, but the organization would eventually like to have scholarships for those who cannot afford to buy a hunting license. Empowered Dream Hunts

Joe and Laurie Ramsey established Empowered Dream Hunts in 2007. With Joe’s love for the outdoors and hunting, Joe noticed that there was a need to help those with challenges, disabilities, or illness, so that they can have an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors as well. As a family, the Ramsey’s have worked together in finding hunting recipients, raising funds to cover the costs, and providing a keepsake DVD to the recipient. [Read More]

Field of Dreams

Field of Dreams is made up of an extremely dedicated group of men and women who love the outdoors, and want to share their wealth of knowledge and means of opportunity with others. We’re incredibly grateful to be able to give back to members of the military, their families, and special needs kids in this way. It started simply, with a fishing trip planned for two special needs kids.
