Memories Made Outdoors

Founded by lifelong outdoorsman Mike Ferrell, Memories Made Outdoors (MMO) is driven by a singular goal: to provide unparalleled outdoor experiences for our nation’s finest.  This non-profit organization specializes in week-long destination trips across the Midwest, offering a range of activities from taking veterans and first responders fishing and hunting. Meticulously outfitted for an unforgettable adventure. What sets MMO apart is our unwavering commitment to those who serve—our Veterans, Military personnel, and First Responders.  At MMO, we proudly extend these life-enriching experiences at no cost, expressing our profound gratitude for their sacrifices and dedicated service. Join us as we embark on a mission to create lasting memories and honor those who have given so much to protect and serve our country.

Frontier’s Edge Outdoors

Our mission is to provide opportunities and fellowship, as well as, encouraging Veterans and First Responders to immerse themselves in all aspects of outdoor recreation.

Big Country Veterans

The purpose and passion of Big Country Veterans (“BCV”) is to honor and support those who have sacrificed so much for our nation’s freedoms.

It is our mission to promote awareness of these sacrifices and bring communities together to foster healing environments and provide meaningful resources to help veterans, and their families, conquer life after combat.

Beards for Benefits

Beards for Benefits, Inc. is a non-profit organization that brings together wounded veterans and children with disabilities to celebrate life through the joys of turkey hunting and great outdoors. Through education, hunting, and fellowship, Beards for Benefits will pair disabled veterans and disabled children with skilled hunters and outdoorsmen to build hope, self-confidence, and inspiration while dealing with the everyday challenges. Our goal of “Heroes helping Heroes” is to foster a sense of purpose and independence while building lifelong friendships by pairing them with people who also share a love for the outdoors and, in turn, are rewarded with lifelong memories, friendships, and connections.

Hill Country Heroes Texas

MO Vets Outdoors (Events Group on FB)

Our mission is to help veterans and their families.  We are focused on helping with veteran mental health and suicide prevention by ways of outdoor activities. For many veterans these types of activities and events are a mental get away and provide that once again feeling of comradery around other like minded people.
We thank you for your added support and look forward to seeing you out in the field. This group here is where you will see all projects, events, hunts and fishing events posted.

North Carolina Veterans Outdoor Official Page (FB)

North Carolina Veterans Outdoor is a non-profit with a goal to help those that need to know they matter, and they are heard. We lose 22 veterans a day to suicide, this number is something that NCVO wants to help lower. This organization truly believes that bringing together veterans, allowing them to talk and have a great experience at the same time will help lower this number. NCVO welcomes all veterans to our group, and we hope to have a wide reach in the state of North Carolina

The Veteran Hunters

The Veteran Hunters Canada Ltd is a non-profit organization operated by volunteers who are retired Canadian Forces Veterans and First Responders, who themselves have gone through their own PTSI journeys. Their goal is to serve their fellow Veterans and First Responders with PTSI, by providing peer support and therapy gained through outdoor adventures.

Participants in our programs acknowledge that being in the outdoors is extremely therapeutic, especially when surrounded by fellow Soldiers, Law Enforcement Officers, Paramedics, Firefighters and Corrections Officers.
