The Healing Road Foundation

Provide life changing outdoor experiences for wounded veterans, survivors and their children in a safe, stress free environment.

These small, private events are pivotal in reconnecting the parent and child, and are offered at no cost to the family. Whether you are fly-fishing together for beautiful rainbow trout, hiking across a mountain ridge in pursuit of elk or simply gathered around a campfire on a cool evening, you will find it easy to give your child the undivided attention that they so desperately long for. This is also a place for you as a veteran or survivor to decompress and submerse yourself in the beauty of nature. God’s magnificent creation holds a healing power that is very unique and free from the stresses of everyday life. While it can take significant courage and effort, we sincerely hope that you will take that first step by reaching out to us and attending one of our events with your child.

Headwaters for Heroes

Headwaters for Heroes is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization serving our Combat Wounded Veterans & Gold Star families through hunting and fishing events as a base foundation for our outdoor therapy programs. We focus on group events, as we have firm belief that true healing will take place in a community of those that have experienced the struggles and sacrifices of war. The healing process in most cases never ends, but if by being surrounded with similar experiences can make the process easier, then we will continue our efforts in giving the platform to those who need it.

Black Dog Hunting

Black Dog Hunting is a nonprofit (501c3) whose mission is to connect and heal Military Veterans through the sport of waterfowl hunting while providing an environment of peer-based mentoring and counseling.  We do this across the country with a focus on mental health, providing once in a lifetime peer-based experiences in the outdoors.

Veterans Help Foundation of Wyoming

We are dedicated to helping Military Veterans that are struggling with suicide and PTSD. We use the many tools Wyoming has to offer to create opportunities for veterans to reconnect with other veterans by using the outdoors. Whether camping, fishing, hiking, or hunting, we are dedicated to helping our veterans.

Iron Men outdoor ministries

IMOM helps hundreds of mentally and/or physically disabled adults and children, terminally ill, less fortunate adults, wounded warriors, and children whose parents are incarcerated.  IMOM helps anyone who needs our love and support.

Chairbound Hunters

Chairbound Hunters is a small group of people committed to help give the chair bound hunter the opportunity to experience quality hunting in beautiful southeast Wyoming. Our reward is seeing the enjoyment our clients receive. Chairbound Hunters is a non-profit organization designed exclusively for persons who are wheelchair-bound, blind or terminally ill. These persons are taken out to hunt antelope, deer, elk and/or turkey by one of our board members or a qualified helper. We have hunters come from all over the United States. For now, our hunters have to buy their own hunting licenses, but the organization would eventually like to have scholarships for those who cannot afford to buy a hunting license.

Selfless Service Outdoors

SSO is a nonprofit organization formed by two combat veterans.

Our goal is to provide fully funded single/multi-day hunting and fishing trips for military veterans and first responders.

In our small way, we hope to give back to those who serve our communities and country, to reward and celebrate their honor, courage, and sacrifice.

Fully-funded trips will cover costs of transportation, food, gear/equipment, and also include an “option” to have the trip professionally filmed and edited.
