Empowered by help from conservation groups, outfitters, corporations, government agencies, and landowners, Freedom Hunters honors individuals from all branches of the military. If you’re a vet who’s struggling or know of one, or a family member of a vet, please apply to attend one of our fishing excursions.
Freedom Fishing Foundation provides fishing excursions anywhere from one to four days trips within Minnesota and Wisconsin. All military branches are included and may apply. Minor military children must be accompanied by an adult guardian/parent. Veterans are allowed to bring one, possibly two guests depending on the type of fishing with prior approval. We encourage you to apply for yourself or on behalf of a vet that would benefit.
Our mission for Freedom Defender Outdoors is to provide the best hunting and fishing trips to our current and fellow service members of the Armed forces. We are a group of current and past military Veterans who love the outdoors in all aspects. As a Pro Staff team we would like to bring the outdoors even closer to all military members no matter their branch of service. We would especially like to provide hunting experiences for our Veterans who have graciously served effortlessly defending our great countries freedom.
Our team members are all affiliated with the military whether past or present servicing our nation of foreign wars. Our main goal is to provide the most memorable hunting and fishing trips of a lifetime on film. We will be honored to host our brothers, sisters and children of veteran to give them a hunt they will always remember.
We are working with many different sponsors all over the country, so we can provide different hunts whether it is a big game hunt, duck hunt, turkey hunt, or just a small game hunt. Our goal is not only to live our love for the outdoors but to fulfill the dreams of those who no longer have the resources available for an outdoor adventure. Your support will help our team provide great hunts, fishing trips and outdoor experiences that come to life not only for out guests but also for the Pro Staffers who have served and continue to serve this great nation.
Freedom Alliance is an educational and charitable organization which sponsors numerous programmatic activities aimed at supporting and honoring our service members and their families. Freedom Alliance is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a public charity organized under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code.
Our mission is to advance the American heritage of freedom by honoring and encouraging military service, defending the sovereignty of the United States and promoting a strong national defense.
Every day Freedom Alliance pays tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of the men and women who wear our nation’s uniform and fight for our freedom. We do this through our Support Our Troops program, a year-round outreach which honors members of our Armed Forces – those who have been wounded in combat and are recuperating at military hospitals throughout the United States – as well as those currently serving on the frontlines. We also provide support and comfort to grieving military families, whose loss is immeasurable.
Freedom Alliance has no shortage of creative supporters who host events to benefit our Support Our Troops program. These events include golf tournaments, car shows, bake sales, outdoor sporting contests, and Poppy’s Wish Heroes Vacations to name a few.
Forces and Fire’s Inc. mission is to provide a safe outdoor recreational experience for any disable/combat veteran, firefighter or law enforcement officer and their families, where they can utilize their strengths and their independence. We will show them that they have not been forgotten and will give them an opportunity to succeed, and realize their contribution to their community and family. Forces and Fire Inc. was founded on the belief that it our mission to help any veteran, firefighter, or law enforcement officer that was injured in the line of duty to be able to enjoy a outdoor recreational experience with other people that are going thought the same experience they’re going though. We will encourage that families be part of this experience. Forces and Fire Inc. would like to give a veteran, firefighter, or law enforcement office the ability to enjoy a outdoor active with their family or by themselves that would not be possible because of the injury they has received, do to their line of duty injury.
Participants will experience a unique guided float trip down the Pere Marquette, Muskegon, and/or the White River located in West Michigan. The program also offers fishing trips on inland lakes throughout West Michigan. Each participant will be instructed on the basic techniques of fly and or light tackle fishing. Fishing activities are held from within a drift boat, on a riverbank or physically wading into the river depending on the comfort level of each participant.
Fishing with Vets is a non-profit organization with a mission to provide veterans, both active and retired, with an opportunity to fish some of the mid-west’s premier fishing destinations. The veterans are paired up with guides who are some of Midwest’s best fishermen/women. The main goal of our events is to create life-long memories and friendships for our veterans.
