Fish’n the Brave

Watch for the sign up for 2026!

2025: Fishers Catch Outfitters would like to thank all of the veterans who have put their lives on the line to protect our freedom! Thank You for your courage, sacrifice, love, and devotion to this great land! Annually, we host a free event for Veterans to thank you for your service!

In November, 2025 , we held the 10th annual FISH’N THE BRAVE event to give back to the veterans. A remarkable event with multiple captains joining together who gave the veterans a day of fishing that all of us will never forget. FISH’N THE BRAVE will allow us to spend the day fishing with up to 100+ Veterans!

The event will take place in Umatilla Oregon at the Umatilla boat launch.

Operation Sasquatch PNW

Veterans run nonprofit that caters to Veterans, active duty, first responders and their families. We organize outdoor adventures promoting mental and physical healing with the power of nature. We promote family friendly events for all ages and abilities.

Purple Heart Hunting Program

The Purple Heart Hunting Program is more than just a hunting program. It was started as a moose mitigation program on the Ft. Greely Army Base in Alaska and has since grown into a top-notch nonprofit organization that benefits 100% disabled Purple Heart veterans. By providing these veterans with the opportunity to hunt, the program helps them heal and find camaraderie while also contributing to conservation efforts.

Battlefield to Backwoods Veteran Outdoors

At Battlefield to Backwoods Veteran Outdoors, our mission is to provide a supportive community and accessible resources for veterans and first responders looking to reconnect with nature and each other. We aim to facilitate outdoor experiences that foster healing, growth, and camaraderie through a variety of activities such as camping, hiking, fishing, and conservation efforts.

We believe that the great outdoors offers a unique environment to share their stories and challenges, allowing them to build lasting relationships and cultivate a sense of purpose. Our programs are designed to empower veterans and first responders, encouraging them to embrace the natural world while promoting physical and mental well-being.

Together, we honor the sacrifices they’ve made while providing a pathway to a fulfilling and active lifestyle. Through mentorship, education, and community engagement, we strive to reduce the rate of veteran and first responder suicides.
